Do you know what a Whisky-paradise is?
Do you know what a Whisky-paradise is? We would call that a place where the most flavorful, finest and rarest spirits are to be found. Where meticulousness and expertise determine which bottlings will be offered to specialized stores and superstores. From where they will eventually find their way in the show cases or glasses of clients. Our Whiskies are hand selected and we know our business to the core. We know which products have a singular character and will be well received by our clients. Share our fascination for pleasure and immerge into the world of Whiskymax. Taste is the top-priority for Whiskymax. There is no second opinion about that. Let us take a look at one of the best: Tullibardine Whisky. This distillery was founded approximately seven decades ago by Delme Evans, a real Whisky enthusiast, on the grounds of a royal brewery in Blackforf. Royal? Yes.
The legendary King James IV-himself a fervent Whisky lover and promoter of the first Scottish brewery- got his Whisky directly from Tullibardine during his regency. A good pound to enter into a new chapter of pleasure. Tullibardine is clarity and purism. The water they use originates from the Danny Burn source located in the same region as the popular Highland Springs mineral water. Bought up by the Brodie Hepburn Company in 1953 and taken over by Invergordon Distillers in 1971, the Distillery was shut down in 1995. But not for too long: November 21st, 2003 Tullibardine was operational again.
We proudly offer six new Tullibardine products: Tullibardine Sovereign, matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels, is wonderfully balanced. Tullibardine Burgundy 228, a Single Malt, matures for 12 months in original Chateau des Chassagne Montrachet Red Burgundy casks. Tullibardine Sherry 500: Reaches maturity in Sherry Casks each holding 500l. Tullibardine Sauternes 225: A chance to unfold to a Top-Whisky in exclusive Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes casks. We also offer 20 and 25 year old Tullibardine bottlings - absolute limited products - that will be really cherished by their future owners. Tamdhu - a name that rolls of easily of the tongues of Whisky-Lovers.
Tamdhu - a spirit originating from a distillery that was, in 1897, the most up-to-date distillery of its time. Connoisseurs say the name with true admiration. Courage and passion were the main "ingredients of the founders". That and the remaining "Can-Dhu"-Spirit were then and are still now, under the new operator, Ian Macleod Distillers, the reason why this product reaches an incomparable quality. Ian Macleod Distillers is aiming not to forget the past but to concentrate at the same time on the future. From West Cork we have got an Irish Whiskey with the rand name Drombeg, which is Irlands most famous stone circle, also known as the Druits Altar. Drombeg is one of the most visited megalithic sites in Ireland and is protected under the National Monuments Act. Therefore it was likely to name our Whiskey “Drombeg” as it is Cork and Irelands at it’s best.
The Swiss are not only chocolate experts - they know how to make a good Whisky, too. Just having gotten his diploma as a master brewer in 1857, Jakob Baumberger founded a distillery. His idea was to use velvety water, a lot of intuition and sure instinct to create a superb product.
In 2007 his descendant Hans Baumberger took up his methods and started to produce Swiss Single Malt. Added just this year was a organic Whisky made out of organic malted barley. Reactions are exuberant: Another gap in the market was bridged.
